Thesis Statement
families
with an average of at least 7 people
per household. However, this has changed in recent years
, due to more demanding careers and cost of living. This has led to a noticiable
difference between the sizes of the families
back in the day and now.In recent years,
people
have dedicated their lives to their jobs, which often takes away time
for them to settle down and make
families
. For instance, on average at least 2 in 3 ladies work full
time
jobs starting from 9 am -5pm, this makes
it difficult to divide their attention between work and kids or family
. As a result, most men and women prefer to have few children or none at all.In addition, the most recent women educational empowerment programs created by the government , most young
people
have enrolled. These courses takes
upto
6 years to graduate and requires full
time
commitment. This makes
it challenging for women biologically to have more babies by the time
they finish because of age.Secondly, living expenses have gradually increased, often
making
it impossible to provide for a big family
. One example, is the constant increase in groceries, to the point people
now rely on food stamps. These food stamps are only limited to a few pople
with special needs, meaning the majority dont
qualify to receive them. In the end people
end up having a manageable small clan, therefore, the reproduction dismally drops. On the other hand, it is essential to acknowledge that despite all these barriers some communities and religions have bigger lineages. They still observe their norms and values of
wifes
being stay
at home moms
and bearing children and the fathers being the providers. In conclusion ,
taking into consideration
all factors surrounding this issue, l suggest it is upon each individual to make
a household they can afford to provide for. This can avoid issues like depression, divorce and suicide due to the pressure that comes with poverty.
