Paragraph 1 Issues:
Thesis Statement
There are a lot of ethical issues in
sporting
events
such as doping and bribes, which weaken
fairness
of competitions. The main cause to create these concerns is greediness of organizations and owners. Hence,
public
and club members should take effective steps to stop
avairace
and corruptions.
It can be seen there are
many
indications of suspicious
actions
when leaders of Olimpic committees and global or regional sporing organizations
make
surprising decisions. In particular, when the committee
select
a host
country
for a major
sporting
event
, it will always lead to
public
critic and protest. For instance, the World Cup of football is the biggest
sporting
event
on earth now, but its election of host
country
brings a huge debate and
make
people to suspect potential bribes among voters of the FIFA. The last time, the
country
which held the
tourment
had
harsh
climate for athletes and supporters.
Further
this nation broke the International Ethical Practices such as worker's rights when it was preparing for the
tourment
. Unfortunately, FIFA chose this
country
as the host regardless of the
public
protest and
skeptics
.
To stop moral concern in sports, the society and athletes should play active roles. The society should harshly
critisize
whenever
sporting
intitutions
take suspicious
actions
. There are
many
ways of doing it. For example, journalists should effectively publicize any corrupted cases to the public. Also, the supporters and people can boycott not watching the competitions. Furthermore, finance in the institutions must be
tranparent
. Now,
many
financial
actions
in
many
athletic institution
are closed to the public. Therefore, the society must require these
action
to be
trasparent
. Another efficient way of preventing the corruption is the voice of athletes themselves. They have to bring their voices to
make
fairer competition and system in
sporting
. They have to protect their rights.
In
conclution
, there are
many
likely corrupted
events
which athletic organizations
make
on the
public
eyes. Thus, people and sport's members and players have to take efficient steps to protect fairness and trust.
