The increasing number of
students
has resulted in
larger
class
sizes
in the educational institutes. As a result,
quality
of education quality has decreased, as
teachers
are
unable
to
provide
personal attention to
pupils
. Educational authorities
need
to reform the
class
structures through
hiring
more
professors and
organizing
smaller
session to address the issue.
To begin with, teaching professionals struggle to deliver individualized help when the
class
size
is
large
. In simple words,
teachers
are
unable
to pinpoint a single
student
who might be struggling to grasp the information shared in a 40-minute lecture, as there are other 30 or 40
pupils
present. Even if a professor is able to
help
a
student
, it will waste the
time
of others because they
already have understood
the
provided
information. For instance, in my country, many high schools have
large
class
sizes
, and
teachers
are
unable
to
provide
personal guidance in every lecture to the
students
who are stuck on some problems. Therefore,
educators
face challenges when they are instructing a vast classroom due to the difficulty of addressing every
student
, as
needs
of many often
outhweighs
the needs of few.
To solve this problem, education authorities
need
to reform the schooling structure through
hiring
more
educators
so that
smaller
sessions can be
organized
.
More
personnels
are
needed
to be
hired
for educating the kids, as according to date, there has been
huge
decline in the number of
educators
and tutors in recent
time
. Recruiting
staff
would
help
organizing
smaller
lessons, as
insititutes
would have additional mentors
alloted
to different
time
slots. For instance, a
class
of 50
pupils
could be divided into two
seperate
classes
if
a school employees
an additional
teacher
for the same subject. Thus, the issue of
overcrowed
classrooms could be easily solved by appointing
more
staff
.
To conclude,
larger
classes
directly hinders the ability of a lecturer to perform at an optimal level due to the struggle while delivering personalized attention to the kids. However, a simple action of employing surplus
staff
would
help
divide a
classmore
in
a
small
segments.
