Thesis Statement
The advance of technology has made a great impact on
people`s
lives
. For some people, they believe that living in the
computer
has more benefits rather than unfavourable effects. In
this
essay
I will discuss
why I agree that
computers
can help people in so many ways and
also
its potential challenges.
Computer
plays an integral role by making our
lives
easier. Through this, we can save time at our own convenience. For example, If a student is doing some research, he can easily
look for information
in the internet
by clicking the web without needing to go to the library to
look for books
. Or, finding a job can be very frustrating, by submitting job applications online, we can easily find suitable work that is best for us. Clearly, online
informations
in
the
computer
is
the key advantage to
make
our
lives
flexible.
However,
computer
has
also
its
disadvantages. One major concern is the potential of lack of communication. For instance, some children who play games
in
the
computer
may encounter
less
interactions with the same age group. As a result of this, they may have problems
in
their social emotional skills in the future. Or, people who are always on the screen, may prefer to attend events through virtual rather than physical. Therefore, this can lead to negative effect in later
life
.
In conclusion, while
computers
may provide us
an easy access
to information, it
also
present
challenges, including reduced quality interaction. Personally, I prefer owning a
computer
so that I can live a more efficient lifestyle
but
it is
also
essential to balance online and offline so that I can maintain meaningful connections and develop social skills.
