Thesis Statement
Some
people
believe that finishing university is the best way to get a good
job
. They feel that a
degree
proves a person’s knowledge and
skills
in a specific area. Many employers prefer graduates because they think they are well-prepared. A university education also opens doors to higher-paying
jobs
. For example,
jobs
in fields like law, medicine, and engineering often require a
degree
. With a
degree
,
people
may have more choices and a better chance of getting a stable
job
.
However, others think that
experience
and soft
skills
matter more. They believe that learning on the
job
can teach
people
practical
skills
that are
hard
to get in a classroom. Soft
skills
like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving can also be developed better with hands-on work. For instance, someone who starts in an entry-level
job
and learns from
experience
might know better how to handle real-life challenges. Some
people
succeed in their careers without a
degree
because they focus on building
experience
and personal
skills
.
Missing Linking Devices
In my opinion, both education and
experience
are important. A
degree
provides a solid foundation, but
experience
helps
people
grow in practical ways. A balance of both can be the best path to career success.
