Thesis Statement
countries
are still struggling to increase their economic
condition
. There are calls for their government to rise the spending by borrowing to some institutional banks, both onshore and offshore, as opposed to
imposed higher taxes or re-distributing available proceeds. This essay will discuss
the negative and positive impacts on the state
's way to add the debt
level. To begin with, for the proponent, the
loan
procurement may be one of the easy solution
from the Government. This is because
many supranational entities will provide loans
for the struggling countries
, hence
they do not suddenly collapse. For instance, the International Monetary Funds or IMF will give specific debt
with reasonable conditions
for developing countries
, such as Indonesia and Vietnam. In relation to this, IMF
will create a low interest, hence
the concerned states
will not be burdened and can repay the debt
in
the right schedule until its
due. However, for the opponent, the increment of
debt
will call for a bigger indebtedness for the state
and ultimately leads
to an economic
recession. If this happens, it can establish a condition
where the supply of goods does not necessarily meet the demands; because
people in the pertaining state
refuse to shop. As the economic
condition
go
in a bad direction, the citizens of the suspected country
will prefer to simply save and keep their money. For example, the Greece residents know that the economic
situation in their country
become inadequate as their government opt to rise the state
's loan
. Thus, they reject to spend
their cash and flying
out Greece
.In conclusion, the government's approach to
borrow
more may provide certain pro and contra. It may be beneficial because
specific bodies may issue loans
with mild terms and conditions
, however,
it will also growth
the state
's level indebtedness
which may cause recession.
