Thesis Statement
Moving to another
country
might be challenging; it can be cumbersome for some
people
. They might feel their values are contrasting and their identity is threatened. Socialization seems
new
, and they need to be acclimated to its situation. However, besides the challenges, immigrating to another
country
might bring unexpected blessings into their
lives
. In this essay, I will point out some of the obvious benefits and drawbacks of living abroad.
It is normal that when
people
move to another
country
, they feel dissociated, lonely, and even some of them feel depressed, These
people
had friends, family, and hobbies that they left in pursuit of another. It can be unsettling, but that is not it. Acclimating to a
new
environment can be tough because each
country
has its own social tacit dynamics, such as different sentence structures, idioms, how they communicate with gestures, and many other things. It takes time, or even years, for immigrants to really integrate into the culture. Take the example of an immigrant who lives in a
country
where English is their second or even the least known language. If they immigrate to a
country
that speaks English as their main language, it can be challenging with the dozens of accents they have. Not to mention human nature: when they see something different (as an ethnic minority immigrant), they can form whatsoever their own opinion.
However, despite the challenges, the benefits of living abroad might remarkably change an individual's
life
, from exposure to a global perspective to a radically
new
individual’s character.
Second, being exposed to
new
things and getting an understanding of appreciation can make their
lives
more vibrant, owing to the fact that many
people
believe being exposed to
new
things and implicitly learning is a part of the human foundation of
life
that makes
life
fulfilled.
There will be relentless trying and continuous learning.
that
makes individuals strong and self-reliant, and these strong built characters are pivotal for them in triumphing over hardship in the future.
