which makes learning
significantly more important than for adults who have completed the growth of their cranium. That is why it is believed that by learning
a foreign language
in the early stage of their growth, it may retain in their livelihoods for much longer. For instance, I have been
brought to The Philippines from a young age as my parents intended to learn
British English . As I continued my life in this foreign country, I quickly learnt
the spoken language
and excelled in it too. The fact that I learnt
this skill during my childhood made it easier for me in the present time and promoted me to pursue advanced literature in English.However, apart from my parents, the education system also agrees with this claim. In most educational establishments, they never fail to miss out at least one
language
-based subject - May it be Spanish, English or possibly Mandarin. This entails that even educators believe that teaching kids these subjects only benefits them in their development. Afterall
, being able to speak more languages
allows for wider
network of people and communities. For those schools in the minority, students would grow up to live with regret and shame for not having learnt
these skills; especially those who are monolingual. They tend to struggle to achieve fluency later on as they lack familiarity of the basics.Although other external factors may contribute to the success of
learning
foreign languages
, it is not without a doubt that youngsters may have it easier than for the grown ups
. Therefore, it is a common practise to let children learn
them starting at a young age and even until adulthood.
