Thesis Statement
Indubitably, the
quality
of the air we
breathe
everyday
is important. If the air we
breathe
is
poor
, it becomes
a
environmental issue that brings significant concerns to our health. Unfortunately,
many
people
today
aren't
aware of this fact.
To
start
, there are
many
health risks to
breathing
poor
quality
air. Because our noses
cant
filtrate the air we
breathe
, our
body
will just intake any air that goes in, be it polluted or not.
Additionally
by
breathing
poor
air, our
body
is open to
many
diseases
especially to our lungs since we
breathe
through them. Furthermore, the immune of our
body
also weakens due to the amount of pollution
thats
entering our
body
.
With all that said, how do we prevent this? To
do
that, the causes of it need to be looked at first.
Poor
air
quality
can emerge due to
many
factors
, however
the most common causes are carbon
emmision
. In most everyday lives,
people
will take their
vehicles
everywhere, this in turn, causes carbon emissions and worsens the
quality
of air. To combat this,
people
should
reduce
the usage of their
vehicles
and
in turn,
start
taking public transport, the emission can be significantly
reduced
. Alternatively, if travelling a short distance, a bike can be used. As an added bonus, this can help combat the traffic in crowded cities.
To conclude,
poor
air
quality
is a massive problem that
starts
by
over reliance on
vehicles
. It should be avoided at all costs as it brings
many
health concerns to the
people
breathing
the air.
People
should
start
caring for this world more and make the world we live in a better place. This can be
started
by just
reducing
the usage of their private
vehicles
.
