In the contemporary era,
online
education has become a popular method of educational delivery due to its numerous advantages over conventional teaching. However, there is an ongoing debate about the quality
of lectures
delivered through e-learning compared to those in traditional classrooms. Even though digital learning is convenient, I believe it fails to meet the same standards offered by conventional teaching. This essay will further elaborate on my opinion with relevant comparisons.To begin with, digital platforms lack a physical presence,
making
it difficult for teachers to interpret thier
students
' physical and emotional cues. Children who struggles to understand concepts may display various cues, such as shaking legs, sweating, and hand tremors. Therefore, it becomes crucial for tutors to recognize these signs to make
their pupils comfortable, but this can be a challenging task in online
sessions. As a result, the quality
of learning is significantly hampered because some students
may not fully comprehend the lectures
. However, in physical classrooms, tutors can easily pick up these cues due to being physically present, and can further assist their students
in fully understanding the lessons.In addition to this, many
students
and teachers find online
platforms boring and full of distraction. The constant need to be in front of a screen makes
digital learning a dull method of instruction, making
some children to doze off while attending lectures
. Moreover, majority of
children attend their lectures
from their mobile phones, which often leads to distractions from notification, gaming applications, and social media interactions. Conversely, lecturers in conventional classrooms ensure they gain attention of students
by continuously engaging them in constructive conversation and minimizing distractions.To conclude, although
online
teaching is considered the future of education, it still lacks the quality
provided in traditional methods. The presence of teachers is crucial for maintaining and upholding the standards and quality
needed to help student
excel.
