Thesis Statement
In big
cities
around the world, overcrowding in every means of
public
transportation during office
hours
is becoming a rising issue. This is because of
unamaged
public
transport
service and can be mitigated through proper management and promoting
bicycles
can be more advantageous.
Office
hours
, mainly the
time
between nine to eleven
in the morning and four to six in the
evening
is the
time
when students go to their school, college and others to their
job
. So, at this
time
the roads and the
public
vehicles
, both become really occupied. Not everyone can afford
getting
a private
vehicle
and they must travel in
public
transport
. While
public
transports
are
not well managed in many
cities
.
Problems
of timing, less
number
of
seats
, not allocated
seat
for
people
with special needs and less
number
of
public
vehicles
are major unmanaged
problems
. For instance, if someone
takes
public
vehicle
during peak
hours
, one can see
majority of
people
are standing because of occupied
seats
. Moreover, one can see an elderly person standing while youngsters sitting in
seat
are busy on their phone. But, there is another
problem
if very
people
in the
city
gets private
vehicles
. This will again cause more and more
number
of
vehicles
on the road at certain
time
. Which will result in traffic.
However, these
problems
can be minimized if
government
and other concerned bodies
take
action over it. To solve these
problems
, they should increase the
number
of
public
vehicles
with proper allocated
seats
and manage
vehicle
timing. Another great solution can be promoting the use of
bicycles
. This is eco-friendly and is
good
way to remain fit even with the busy schedule. Also, this will not cause
problem
of traffic. For example, many
cities
are following the slogan 'Go Green' and are encouraging
people
to ride
bicycles
.
In conclusion, the arising
problem
of overcrowded
public
transport
can be minimized if, concerned authorities
take
action for
it's
management and
encourages
the use of
bicycle
.
