Dear Samuel,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of spirits.
As you know that my 60th birthday anniversary is coming up on the 20th of
August, 2025
. I would love to inform you about my decision to retire at 60. My coming birthday party is also going to be my retirement party. Having served as an educational instructor in the last 35 years, I believe I need to retire, so that
I can some time
to myself and also enjoy the fruits of my labour years.I have been thinking about it for some
time
now and
I think this is the right time
. My children are of marital ages, I need to have ample time
to myself so that i
can be there to take care of my grandchildren and teach them while their parents work and earn their living. In addition, I would love to actively participate in charitable deeds, as you know that I am an orphan who has enjoyed so many benefits from so many people and this was what made me inculcate the habit of giving.
Furthermore, my late husband has an
adandoned
farm which I would like to cultivate and give proceeds from the farm to old and needy. This was his (my late husband's) dream. It will fill my heart will gladness
to do this.In conclusion, I will be moving back to the countryside so I can be close to nature, watch the sunrise and sunset and enjoy all that
i
have laboured for.Kindly take this as an
invite
to my birthday/retirement party, I look forward to seeing you.Yours sincerely,
