The table illustrates the proportions of total water utilization assigned to various segments in 2018 and 2020 in four European countries: Italy, Poland, Spain, and Sweden. Overall, it can be observed that agriculture is the highest sector of water usage percentage in all countries in 2018 and 2020.
Spain and Poland demonstrate an increase of 2% in agriculture over two years. Therefore, Spain leads with the highest percentage of 60 in 2018, and 62 in 2020 in agriculture, and Poland places second with 40% in 2018 and 42% in 2010. Conversely, Italy and Sweden show a decline of 2% from 2018 to 2020, with Italy starting at 50% in 2018, reaching to 48% in 2020 and Sweden beginning with 30% in 2018, decreasing to 38% in 2020. Although Sweden reflects the lowest percentage in the agriculture sector, it ranks
the first with
greatest
percentage in the Industry sector in both 2018 and 2020. It indicates an increase of 2% from 2018 to 2020.Similarly, Italy's percentage in the industry segment saw a growth from 30% in 2018 to 32% in 2020. In contrast, Poland and Spain witnessed a decline of 2% over the given period, with the latter starting with 25% and decreasing to 23%.
