The table above illustrates the proportion of people engaging in different sports activities in 2022 in five different countries: USA, UK, Australia, Japan, and Germany. Overall, it is evident that the percentages
recorded
for each activity varies in each country.USA reflects its highest percentage, 45%, in football, but displays the
lowest
percentage, 15%, in tennis, which also ranks it the last when compared with all other four countries. Similarly, UK
recorded
its greatest percentage, 40%, in football, but demonstrated its lowest
percentage, 20%, in tennis. Consequently, Australia showed its largest percentage, 50%, in swimming, which is as well the highest percentage in comparison to the percentages recorded
for each country in swimming. Conversely
though, it displays its smallest percentage, 20%, in basketball. As for Germany, it reflects its biggest percentage, 35%, in football, while its lowest
percentage, 15%, is in basketball. In contrast, Japan held and led first with the highest percentage, 50%, in swimming, and recorded
the lowest
percentage of all countries as well, 10%, in basketball.In conclusion, basketball seems the least attractive activity for most countries.
