The quantitative data table provided indicates the mean amount of calories consumed by each person per day in the countries of France, Italy, Spain, and Sweden from 2017 to 2022.
Overall, citizens of Sweden take in more calories than other European countries. A rising trend can be observed as the daily caloric intake increases for most countries as time progresses.
Specifically, France, Italy, and Spain demonstrates a steady and proportional rise in food energy intake: across the span of six years, 50kcal was added to the daily
nutritions
every year on average.
Amoung
these three countries, France started and ended with the lowest figures of 2200kcal and
2450kcal
while Italy is
on
the highest end with 2400kcal and 2650kcal. Italy is exactly in between, and it started at 2400kcal and reached 2650kcal after six years.
On the other hand, Sweden neither demonstrates a pattern nor is increasing throughout the years. There was a drop in figure from the year 2017 to 2018, and there was an increase by 100kcal in
following
year. Even though Sweden saw a decrease in the measure of caloric intake per day from 2017 to 2018, it is still the countries with the highest average food energy intake by the year 2022.
