The pie charts illustrate the proportion distribution of various crime categories in Sydney from years 2019 to 2023.
Overall, the percentage of theft was the highest in both years. The last place belonged to vandalism. Besides, assault and drug
offenses
were having upward trends. Theft and Robbery face a marked downturn.In 2019, theft topped the list, with 40%. The second place belonged to assault was a half on assault, at 20%. The figures for Robbery and Drug
Offenses
share a similar percentage, with 15%. Finally, at the bottom of the list was Vandalism, at 10%.By 2023, Theft was decreased slightly but was still at the top of the list, with 35%. On the other hand, assault and drug
offenses
was
experienced an increase, with 25% and 20%, respectively. Robbery fall down and vandalism stay remain however share a similar percentage, at 10%.
