The pie chart provides a visual representation of people's modes transportation-Train, Bus, Car, Bicycle and Walking in Tokyo and London in 2022.
Overall, it is evident from the data that Train had the highest rates in both cities, significantly outpacing the other means of transportation.Bus and Car hosted a noteworthy percentage, while Bicycle and Walking had a comparatively lower turnover.
Train figures were particularly striking in Tokyo, with nearly 50% of passengers preferring to use trains. In fact, nearly half of the population preferred train in Tokyo, which is 50% shy of the highest possible engagement rate. On the other hand, London recorded 35% of people who prefer to use trains as transport, which is 15% shy of Tokyo's rate.
Conversely, walking ranked the lowest in Tokyo and London at approximately 5% in both states, which is only one twentieth of passengers walking. This suggests a constant
perfomance
in the two countries.Bus accounted for the
second largest
group in both Tokyo and London
with around 20% and 25% respectively. Following closely behind, Car had about 15% in Tokyo and 20% in London, placing it just above Bicycle by a margin of 5% in both cities, thus securing the third position. Consequently, Bicycle occupied fourth position in both in both
Tokyo and London. In conclusion, it is clear that people's mode of transportation rates varied significantly across cities, others dismally lower than others.Nevertheless, predicting future trends remain uncertain.
