The pie chart illustrates the usage of water in five sectors —Agriculture, Domestic, Industrial, Public Services and
Other
in California and New York in 2022.
Overall, the data clearly shows that Agriculture and Domestic Indusrties were the most popular in water usage in Carlifornia and New York respectively, significantly surpassing
other
options. Industrial and Public Services also represented a substantial portion of water consumption, while
other
sectors accounted for a much smaller share.
In Carlifornia, Agriculture usage was particularly remarkable, with nearly 40% of water utilization, representing a high allocation level. Following closely behind, is the Domestic field with nearly 30% and 40% in both Carlifornia and New York respectively.
Industrial made up the third-largest division in the region with around 15% in Carlifornia and 25% in New York, just 5% and 15% ahead of Public Services, which ranked fourth in both cities.
Other
sectors recorded a relatively lower rate, about 5% in both states, indicating a consistent trend in both locations.
In conclusion, water management varied significantly between the two cities, with some sectors showing markedly lower usage. However, predicting future trends in water usage remains uncertain.
