The pie chart exhibits the distribution of immigrants
in USA
and Brazil for the year, 2020. Here, it is shown that the chart is divided among Asian, European, African, South American, and Oceanian immigrants.
In USA, the data
depics
that Asians represent the largest immigrant group in the country accounting for 35% of the immigrant population. This is closely followed by the European sector taking up 30% and South America which accounts for a fifth of the surveyed population. Meanwhile, Africa and Oceania only make up 15% of
USA
's immigrants combined.
Meanwhile, South Americans are the most dominant group in
Brazil
comprising 35% of their immigrant
population
followed by Europeans representing a quarter. Asians, on the other hand, only accounts for a fifth of immigrants in the country which is 15% less than in the USA. However, Africans and Oceanians are more prevalent in Brazil in comparison as they make up 20% of the population altogether.
Unexpectedly, South Americans cover the majority of immigrants in Brazil despite being located
in
the same continent. This is in contrast
to USA
, which almost exclusively accommodates individuals from other regions.
