The percentage change in retail store sales from four different US states can be visualized through the given line chart. The graph shows data from 2015 and 2020 and can be summarized by stating New York's dominance in retail sales growth,

followed

by California, Texas, and Florida, respectively.

In New York, stable growth was initially present from 2015 before sales began to slow down, but was

followed

by a promising increase in 2017. The same can be said for

California

which

follows

a nearly identical trend, as both states managed to recover

its

pace in 2019. However, California's dip in 2018 caused the state to match Texas's and Florida's growth rate, but it was successful in outperforming both states just one year after. The line chart also shows an overlap between the inferior states, Texas and Florida, in 2018 that has rendered both states to

each other's sales growth overtime. Before the aforementioned overlap, Florida seemed to display a noticeable advantage over Texas from 2015 before its eventual decline three years after.

Overall, the line graph represents how much each state manages to increase their retail store sales in the course of five years. This growth is evidenced by an improvement of up to 5% from their initial findings in 2015.
