The graphs illustrate the changes in the domestic water consumption in four cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and
Houston
over a ten-year period. Overall, there were
increase
in domestic water usage in every city by the end of the period. The highest domestic water consumption through out
the period was in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston, respectively.New York consumed water of 300 units in 2010, and it fluctuated during the period of time, which it
increased
water consumption to approximately 380 units in 2019. Los Angeles, on the other hand, had steadily increase
its water usage over the period of time. It used 200 units of water in 2010 and by the end of period, it increased
to around 290 units in 2019.Chicago and Houston share similar trend, which the water consumption slightly
increase
though out the period, except in the year 2013, that there was increase in the water usage in Chicago, but there was decrease
in Houston.
