The graph illustrates the population expansion patterns from 2000 to 2020 in four continents: Africa, Asia, Europe, South America. Overall, it is evident that all continents saw growth in their population size over the two decades.
Asia stands out as the continent with the highest number of inhabitants over the two decades, starting at 3,700 and extending to 4,200. This shows the largest increase, 500, from 2000 to 2020 across all continents. Subsequently, Africa ranks second with the most enormous amount of people it facilitates, demonstrating a steady increase of 200, rising from 800 in 2000 to 1000 in 2020. Additionally, this growth in the population of Africa is also the second-highest increase among all continents.
Similarly, South America reflects a gradual consistent enlargement in its population, starting at 500 in 2000 and finishing at 600 in 2020. However, while the population increase in South America is the third highest, it also has the smallest population over the decades, among all continents. Meanwhile, Europe saw a contrastingly small growth in its population, beginning at 600 in 2000 and ending at 650. This suggests an overall trend of a slow, gradual increase in the amount of people in Europe over the twenty-year span, possibly because Europe is an attractive spot for all tourists
