The chart
gives
information about the number of cybercrime incidents that occured
in four countries (Japan, South Korea, China, and India) from 2017 to 2021. The rates were measured per 100,000 people. Overall, Japan had the highest number of incidents throughout the years.In the beginning, Japan accounted for around 500 incidents. This was followed by a slight growth until 2021, where it reached its peak at around 550 incidents. Similarly, both China and Japan also showed slight upward trends from 2017 to 2021. The number of crimes happened in China during 2021 was around 450, whereas Japan had 390. Therefore, China and Japan
was
marked as the second and third highest
rates of incidents of all countries over the period given. On the other hand, South Korea started at around 250 incidents in 2017 and ended at around 280 incidents by 2021, making the country as the lowest number of cybercrime incidents throughout the period.
